Starting from Cascina Foresto you can discover many trails inside Regional Parc of Baragge on foot, riding a bike ( you can rent them from us) or with donkeys.

Situated in the natural reserve of the Baragge Biellese (heath land), Cascina Foresto is surrounded by nature while being in a strategic position for reaching many places of interest in the Biellese and beyond It is possible to visit fascinating medieval villages, imposing mountain sanctuaries or places which offer various sporting activities. Sport
The vicinity of the Biella Alps and Valle d’Aosta makes it possible to organise mountain based activities, all accompanied by a mountain guide or a nature guide.From trekking to climbing, from walking on a glacier to the thrill of a “via ferrata” the mountain activities are offered to children and grown-up. For the Golf lovers a 9 holes golf court is in Cossato, only 10 minutes away, while one of the most prestigeous Italian golf court “Betulle of Magnano” can be reached in 45 minutes.

Horses hospitality
Cascina Foresto is equipped with a large paddocks and boxes where we can take care of your horses and feed them with our hay, feed and take good care of them with our trust worthy blacksmith and vet.Cascina Foresto is located on the Biellese horse trail, a 200 km route that crosses our region.

Mountain Bike
Cascina Foresto is located in the centre of a vast network of mountain bike trails, that can challenge all levels of ability. A special room where you can store your bike and a repaire kit are available.

Art and culture
The Biellese is an area which is rich in art, culture and traditions. Medieval villages, such as the famous Ricetto di Candelo, the defended village of Masserano and the historic quarter of Biella, known as Piazzo can be easily reached from Cascina Foresto, while the mountains surrounding Biella are studded with charming sanctuaries such as those of Oropa and San Giovanni d’Andorno. There is also a monastic community at Bose. The Biellese has a very interesting network of Ecomuseums consisting of fifteen units dedicated to the mountain and local traditions. For those who appreciate contemporary art a visit to Cittadellarte in Biella, founded by Michelangelo Pistoletto is a must.
There is also an interesting local museum in Biella while in the centre one can admire the Baptistery, one of the most remarkable constructions of primitive Romanesque art in Piedmont.
